Best devices for digital phenotyping

A number of cassava breeders are in the search of an electronic device (preferably a phone) that offer a good compromise between cost and operability (screen resolution, battery autonomy, etc...) for digital data collection (with the Fieldbook app for example). The Motog5 is often cited as a good one but its price is on getting higher. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=motog Any experience with other phone or handheld devices to share?

I would also be interested to hear about the phone or portable devices. Now I want to buy a few for work.
